Why is my order marked "Pre-Shipment"?

We do our best to process all orders within 3-5 business days unless there is an unexpectedly high volume due to peak times such as sales or holidays.

Once our fulfillment team has packed your order, they will generate a tracking number, and you will receive an email confirmation with your shipping information. At the end of the day, the courier will pick up all packed orders from our facility and transport them to their next facility to scan.

Orders with "Info Received," "USPS Awaiting Package," or "Pre-Shipment" status do not mean your package is lost or not moving. It is in transit and has already left our facility. The tracking will update once your package has been scanned at the next facility of your chosen courier.  You may notice that there may not be an update for several days, or sometimes up to a week. Don't worry, as this is a common occurrence, especially during peak season. Rest assured that your package is on its way!

How long should an order stay in Pre-Shipment status?

The amount of time that an order stays in Pre-Shipment status can vary depending on the shipping carrier and the shipping method, as well as the peak season or holiday. However, a good rule of thumb is that an order shouldn't stay in Pre-Shipment status for more than 5-7 business days. If your order has been in Pre-Shipment status for longer than that, kindly contact us through our live chat feature or email us at cs@igelbeauty.com so that we can monitor your package on the backend and/or contact the courier as necessary!
